The Albornoz Palace Hotel in Spoleto is enjoying an exceptionally successful season, further strengthening its position as one of Umbria's leading conference and events venues. As the city prepares to welcome the opening of the Festival dei Due Mondi, the hotel's conference centre is hosting an impressive calendar of events, including major conferences, cultural gatherings, corporate conventions and high-profile institutional meetings of national significance.
At the heart of this success is the Sol LeWitt Hall, the flagship venue of the Albornoz Palace Hotel's conference facilities. Over recent months, this outstanding space has earned growing recognition from associations, institutions, businesses and event planners thanks to its perfect blend of functionality, cutting-edge technology and an extraordinary artistic setting. Every event hosted here becomes far more than a traditional conference, offering speakers and delegates an immersive experience where contemporary art meets innovation and organisational excellence. The venue has also become a genuine meeting point for professionals, researchers, cultural institutions and the business community.
The vibrant atmosphere currently filling the hotel once again reflects this important vocation. A continuous programme of professional conferences, cultural events, association meetings and prestigious institutional gatherings—including the major Rotary Congress—is further enhancing the reputation of the Albornoz Palace Hotel as a premier destination for high-level events.
This achievement confirms the hotel's well-established standing within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) industry while further reinforcing Spoleto's position as an ideal destination for prestigious professional events, particularly at a time when the city once again takes centre stage on the international cultural scene with the Festival dei Due Mondi.
From 26 June to 12 July 2026, Spoleto will host the 69th edition of the Festival dei Due Mondi, under the artistic direction of Daniele Cipriani, featuring an exceptional programme of world and European premieres. One of the world's longest-running international festivals dedicated to the performing arts and culture, the Festival is set to present an outstanding programme of exclusive premieres, internationally acclaimed artists and emerging talents. Once again, audiences will enjoy an extraordinary variety of opera, music, dance, theatre and visual arts performances, celebrating diverse cultures and contemporary artistic languages.
Over the course of 17 days, the Festival will present 100 performances, including 7 world premieres and 9 original productions created specifically for the Festival, featuring more than 1,000 artists from around the world.
Located just a 10-minute walk from the Festival's principal venues, the Albornoz Palace Hotel offers the perfect base from which to experience the event in its entirety.
The hotel has also long served as one of the Festival's principal hospitality partners. For many years, the Festival organisation has chosen the Albornoz Palace Hotel to accommodate its international companies of performers, musicians and dancers, all of whom play a leading role in this internationally renowned cultural event.
The relationship between the Festival Due Mondi and the ownership of the Albornoz Palace Hotel is a longstanding and enduring partnership, built upon mutual trust, friendship and deep professional respect—values that continue to strengthen this unique collaboration year after year.
